Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work on Hyppe (https://hyppe.in), which is operated by [Company legal name], and why Hyppe itself does not issue refunds at present. It applies to both brands and creators and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Effective date: [effective date]
In short
- Hyppe does not collect any money at present. There are no fees, and no payments are made to or through Hyppe, so there is nothing for Hyppe to refund.
- Before a creator is hired, brands and creators can step back freely.
- After a creator is hired, the collaboration is a binding agreement between the brand and the creator. It can be cancelled or changed only if both of them agree.
- Deliveries that a brand has approved must be paid for, even if the collaboration is later cancelled.
- A brand never receives usage rights to content it has not paid for.
Why Hyppe does not issue refunds
Brands pay creators directly, by UPI or bank transfer, using the payout details the creator shares. Hyppe does not collect, hold or process these payments, and does not charge brands or creators any fee. Because no money is paid to Hyppe, there is nothing for Hyppe to refund. Any refund between a brand and a creator is a matter between them, as explained below.
Cancelling before a creator is hired
Brands
You can pause or close a campaign at any time. This stops it from receiving new applications and hires. It does not by itself end any collaboration that has already been formed from that campaign. Those are binding agreements and can only be cancelled as described below.
Creators
- You can withdraw an application at any time before you are hired.
- You can decline an invitation from a brand.
- Some campaigns hire creators instantly when they accept the campaign terms. In those campaigns there is no application to withdraw, because accepting the terms means you are hired. Accept only if you are sure you can deliver.
No fees or penalties apply to any of these steps.
Cancelling after a creator is hired
When a creator is hired, the campaign terms are frozen as the agreement between the brand and the creator. Either of them can propose cancelling or changing the collaboration, but the change takes effect only if both agree. Please make the proposal and record the agreement in the collaboration chat, so that there is a clear record.
When cancelling, the brand and the creator should settle the following:
- Approved deliveries: must be paid in full within 3 days of approval. Cancelling does not remove this obligation, and the payment must still be recorded on Hyppe.
- Deliveries not yet approved and work in progress: the brand and the creator agree whether the work will be completed, and whether any payment is due for work already done.
- Content already published: the brand and the creator agree whether it stays live for the agreed period or is taken down.
- Usage rights: pass to the brand only for deliveries that have been paid for. If a delivery is not paid for, the brand may not use it.
- Products: are kept or returned as the campaign terms say, unless the brand and the creator agree otherwise.
- Recurring campaigns: every cycle that has already been approved must be paid for. The remaining cycles end when both agree to stop.
If the other party does not respond or does not agree, the collaboration continues on its agreed terms. Missed due dates and late payments continue to count in track records, and a serious breach may lead to action under our Terms of Service. You can ask Hyppe for help by emailing admin.hyppe@gmail.com. We may review the records on Hyppe and help both sides reach an agreement, but we cannot force either party to agree, and each party keeps its legal remedies.
Refunds between brands and creators
Sometimes a brand that has already paid a creator may believe that some money should be returned, for example if agreed content was taken down before the end of the agreed live period. The brand should raise this with the creator in the collaboration chat. Any refund is agreed and paid directly between the brand and the creator, and should be recorded in the chat. Hyppe can help mediate, but it does not handle the money and is not responsible for refunds between users.
Future paid features
If Hyppe introduces paid features, escrow, payment processing or platform fees in future, we will update this policy before they apply. The refund and cancellation terms for any paid feature will be shown clearly before you pay.
